Calgary up 2 Games to 1

Am I surprised Calgary won on Tuesday I would have to say no. This team is hungry and focused. They can smell the cup and this team has no pressure. They were not expected to make the Playoff’s, then give Vancouver a run for their money but certainly not beat them. As for Detroit the best in the league, no way was Calgary getting past them.

So now we have Calgary up 2 games to none and heading home. Do they look ahead, No they focus on playing their game and waiting for their chances and capitalizing on the other team’s mistakes. It is not as though this team is a team of Superstars, they are just a hard working team that has bought into the notion that hard work will lead to success. What a novel concept, it would be nice if everyone made the same connection in the world outside hockey instead of coasting and just passing time.

Will Calgary get past San Jose, well this fan believes as long as they work hard and work as a team anything is possible and drinking out of Lord Stanley’s Cup is possible for the guys that very few believed in.
