New Golf Clubs

Well I finally have taken the time to go and look and find a new set of clubs. I get to retire my old set of Wilson Clubs which I am embarrased to say I bought at a Garage Sale about 5 years ago. Paid about $2o if I remember correctly. They have served me well but I knew the first time I tried my Brother’s clubs and then my friend Joe’s clubs at the driving Range I knew I had to take the plunge.

So I did my research online and asked my friends what they were using then I started the store crawl and played avoid the sales guy until I was ready to buy. I found a couple of sets I liked and finally settled on a Graphite set at Nevada Bob’s. I like the fact you can try before you buy.

I bought a set of Jazz Vantage

A Nice set, we will have to take them out and see if they can help my game. I will keep you updated.

Too Many Places to Go Too Little Time

I have been browsing a bunch of Travel web sites lately. I need a vacation just cannot decide where to go. Too many places I want to visit just not sure where I can go or what will meet my fancy. Cuba is interesting, another cruise to the Carribbean would be nice or maybe Fiji or Tahiti. The common thread is all of these places are in the tropics. So I guess I want to goto the sun and enjoy the sun and water.

Not sure where yet but just know I need to start planning a getaway.

Maybe a roadtrip…..Not too sure about work, I know I cannot get a long period of time off so I guess I need to figure out a way to do this short term or make a big decision.

Wish I had more time to explore.

What Quote Fits me

Friend antiques
Your wise quote is: “The best antiques are old
friends” by Unknown…
Your buds is the source of your happiness
(maybe not all but still). Even if it’s just
one, a couple or a whole group they are the
ones you can’t wait to see. It does not matter
if you’re shy with everyone else or not, with
them you let your true spirit shine and can be
as loud as you want. They accept you, and you
love them for that.

Weather

The weather has changed for the better. This last week we have had sunshine and it has warmed up to the low 20 degree range. I sometimes wish I did not spend so much time inside working. It makes me appreciate the time I do get to spend outside.

I Can’t Beleive it is April Already

Where does the time go, I can’t beleive it is April. I have no idea where the time goes. I think my life is running past me at high speed. Anyone have any idea how to slow down the pace a little? Sometimes I want the world to stop and let me off for a bit.

Everything seems to go at high speed in our world. I sometimes miss the quiet slow pace of my childhood. Lazy summer days, playing ball, going to the ice cream shop for a double scoop. Bicycling to the creek for a cold dip.

Why do we have to grow up. Life was so simple at one time.

Weekend on the Ranch

I spent the Easter weekend at the The Hills Spa and Ranch at 108 Mile House. Nice place and they have some pretty decent deals as it is between the seasons. The snow has melted so it was quite muddy and a little chilly. They have an indoor pool and hot tubs, although the hot tubs were closer to luke warm.

They have all the spa treatments you would expect, I had a massage and pedacure. Never had a pedacure before and it felt really good. It is nice to spoil yourself every so often. On Sunday we went horseback riding and that was enjoyable. It has been a few years since I was last riding. I think I will go riding more often I miss the tranquilty and beauty of nature hat you can expereince when you go riding.

It was a very relaxing weekend and did I mention the pedacure was great!

New Design

I have upgraded (with the Help of my Friend Joe) to the newest version of WordPress. Pretty incredible software and it is Free. Not alot in this world is free and is such a good thing. I am impressed with the versatilty of the software and how easy it is to use. Makes having a Blog a great thing for anyone.

I would highly recommend WordPress as it is so easy to use and works quite flawlessly.

Thanks Joe!
