Civic Election?
I must have been on another planet as I did not realize that yesterday was an election in my province. I knew there was an election coming up but did not know when it was happening. I was under the impression it was not for several weeks. I am really out of touch with what is going on to miss something like an election. As I look back I tried to figure what happened and why I missed it. For the life of me I cannot figure out how I missed knowing when the election was supposed to happen.
The only thing I can think of is being out of work has caused me to “tune out†alot of what is happening in the outside world. I am wondering what else I have missed…..Makes me a bit concerned that I am missing some stuff that I shouldn’t.
Not really sure what I need to do to get with it.
As a postscript the Mayor of Chilliwack was elected by acclamation. No one ran against him so maybe my excuse is I knew that and did not really care about the rest of positions.
