Hockey Jerseys

Sunday, December 4th, 2005 @ 2:14 | Hockey, Personal

While some folks collect coins or stamps or dolls, I collect Hockey Jerseys. I am in the process of setting up a page with my jersey collection. I currently have 36 different jerseys with the majority coming from Calgary and then a selection from different NHL teams and some Junior jerseys.

What is the Criteria I use to select my jerseys?

First and foremost I collect Calgary Flames Jerseys
Next I look for unique jerseys these include Vintage Jerseys, Junior Jerseys, International Jerseys and even some Commercial Hockey Jerseys (Corona)

So why do I collect Jerseys?

Easy I enjoy wearing the Jerseys and they are a unique collectible.
My plans are to create a hockey room in my new place where I will display the Jerseys and other hockey memorabilia

Which is my Favorite?

My absolute favorite is a Game Worn Mike Vernon Calgary jersey from the 1989 All Star game which I finally got Autographed by Mr Vernon in 2001.

As a close second my Vintage Bobby Orr as he was my childhood hero and my favorite player

I will finish setting up the Jersey page and post when it is completed.

This will be real when I find employment I will move closer to wherever I am working. Also my house is way too big for me so a smaller place is in order.
