Moving

I spent the weekend helping my friends Joe and Mel move from Chilliwack to Burnaby. It surprises me how much it takes to move and it is interesting to see how much stuff we have once we have to move it. While I spent three days helping them they spent 6 days moving. I am glad it does not happen all that often as I find it extremely exhausting and it seems like I did not do all that much.

Well one thing is obvious I do not want to be a professional mover I have gained more respect for what movers do every day. I am seeing what is involved and it has given me some good ideas on how I will deal with my move. One thing I will continue to do is get rid of stuff I am no longer using and hopefully I can get rid enough stuff to make my move less painful. Here’s hoping!
