In what has become an annual event this years edition is the sixth, the CBC (The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) our national channel broadcasts a complete day of hockey coverage. The day includes games played by all levels of players as well as stories, live Q&A shows and an online auction. The highlights include all 6 Canadian teams playing each other and all 3 games broadcast.
The celebration will be centered in Stephenville, Nfld. and include coverage from such places as Florenceville, N.B.; Parry Sound, Ont.; Winkler, Man.; Calgary, Alta.; and Burnaby, B.C. It is considered an unofficial holiday in Canada as we celebrate the pure joy the game brings to fans of all ages. CBC showcases the game of hockey like no other broadcaster and presents the game with pride.
