Congratulations to all the athletes and medal winners. It was a record haul for Canada with 24 medals. Great job to the athletes and all of their support. Looking forward to Whistler it bodes well for Canada to be high in the medal standings with a high number of 4th and 5th place finishes in Turin it is a probabilty that we will see more medals.

While we saw a high proportion of medals from speed skating it gives us a chance to do even better in 4 years with the opportunity to medal in more sports.
