I was very pleased to participate in the Wiggle Waggle Walk on Sunday. The rain held off and I had a pleasant drive into Maple Ridge to the SPCA. When I arrived I was surprised by how many people were there waiting for things to begin. There were probably over 200 people and a large number of dogs of all shapes and sizes. The radio station Z95.3 and news crews from Global and CTV were in attendance as well.

The walk was lead by 8 year old Jacob who played MC and was a most gracious host even coming up to me and thanking me personally for attending and of course to meet Tara. We had a good time meeting all the dogs and sharing sometime for a really godd cause. I was extremely impressed with Jacob and as I spoke with some of the other participants they all seemed to share the sentiment that this is special young man. Today I received a Thank You Message from Jacob’s Mom for posting about the walk. I was pleased to attend and appreciate the message. So far Jacob has raised over $3900.

So one last thing Jacob is still waiting for Ellen Degeneres to respond so how about it Ellen.
