Mother’s Day

So I was out and about today and saw all the flower stalls alongside the road and all the advertisements for Mother’s Day. It got me to thinking how much a mother means to us. Or in my case how much my mother meant to me. It may seem like a strange thing to say but my parents were my best friends and I lived at home out of choice because of my closeness to my parents. When it comes to days like Mother’s and Father’s day I treated them as special days to show my appreciation. I owe so much to my parents and it surprises me how much people take their parents for granted. Well on Mother’s Day I will spend sometime thinking about my Mom and how much she meant to me. Not that it takes a certain day to make me think about my Mom or my Dad.
