Finally Maybe They Will Care…
As of March 14th 2007 all Canadian cell phone companies must offer number portability. Normally once the cell phone companies have their claws on you they do not give a Rats Ass about you because they figure you are locked in and will not change because you could not in the past keep your number. Now that this is changing it will be interesting to see how the companies address current customers and gone will be the days when a great new cell phone deal is only available to new customers. Maybe and this is a novel concept the companies will actually treat an existing customer like a person and care enough to ensure they are happy with the service offered.
