Joe Normal
34 % Nerd, 34% Geek, 34% Dork

For The Record:A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.You scored less than half in all three, earning you the title of: Joe Normal.

This is not to say that you don’t have some Nerd, Geek or Dork inside of you–we all do, and you can see the percentages you have right above. This is just to say that none of those qualities stand out so much as to define you. Sure, you enjoy an episode of Star Trek now and again, and yeah, you kinda enjoyed a few classes back in the day. And, once in a while, you stumble while walking down the street even though there was nothing there to cause you to trip. But, for the most part, you look and act fairly typically, and aren’t much of an outcast.

I’d say there’s a fair chance someone asked you to take this test. In any event, fairly normal.

Congratulations!

Are All Media Morons?

Saturday, March 3rd, 2007

Is it just me or are some media types complete morons when it comes using their common sense and especially when they rant. Ok so I exaggerate a bit but where I am going here is media types who rant about something when they either do not have all the information or even worse rant just to get people calling in to add to the rant.

What has got me up in arms is Vancouver radio station Team 1040’s Dave Pratt and Don Taylor have been whining for the last 3 days about the fact that the Vancouver Canucks are not being broadcast on four consecutive Saturdays on the CBC weekly hockey broadcast Hockey Night in Canada. Each Saturday during the regular season their is a double header with an early game from eastern Canada and a late game from Western Canada. Well this intrepid reporter (Me) spent 30 seconds completing my research and here is what I have found

Sat Feb 17th Canucks do not play
Sat Feb 24th Canucks do not play
Sat Mar 3rd Canucks do not play hmmm I am seeing a pattern here….
Sat Mar 10th Canucks do not Play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So had either Pratt or Taylor taken their heads out of their butts and did a little research they would have found out their is a reason the CBC is not broadcasting a Vancouver Canucks game on four consecutive Saturdays. Instead they use their call in show to make fun of the CBC and whine and moan about the shitty broadcast schedule. So Pratt and Taylor once you remove your heads from your asses maybe you can give me a call as I think you need a little help with research and I think I would be perfect for the job!
