I have my new attachment and I must admit I am not a happy camper. Since I am right handed I am already getting frustrated trying to do the most mundane things which I normally take for granted. Trying to cut food, turn my keys in the door, put on my seat belt Aargh I cannot believe this has happened to me. I am just so pissed off right now I want to rip this stupid cast off my arm. All this and only 18 days till we leave.

I know this doesn’t help, but I REALLY empathize with you! It’s amazing how much we take for the use of our arms and hands for granted.
All I can say is…you will learn to do things with your other hand out of necessity. AND, ask for help! You do so many kind things for other people, I know that you have people in your life who would be willing to help!
