I figured it was about time I got myself a new vehicle and after a lot of searching I finally found one that I think is a good choice. More of a fun vehicle than anything else but it is something I have been looking at for quite sometime and decided to finally take the plunge.

Ok so maybe not what you were expecting but it is very cool. This is my new Traxxas Slash 1/10th scale Stadium Truck for short track racing. I have not raced it yet but have taken it out a few times bashing around in the dirt. I have had it zipping around on the street and it goes about 30-35 mph. The neat thing is just how customizable it is and some of the neat options you can add. In the future I want to upgrade the engine and suspension. For now I am just happy roaring around in the dirt.
That is a very nice little toy you got yourself there. Those Traxxas trucks really go from all the videos I have seen. I got into an RC hobby too! I flying mini helicoptors. I bought a Blade mSR and then the SR. I can fly the mSR no problem but the SR is another story. It is on the shelf as hone my skills on the Pheonix RC flight sim software I bought. Man – I got a lot of learning to still do. Crashing a virtual helicopter has a certain sense of satisfaction to it (as I know I just saved another $100). Problem is – I am always crashing. Perhaps I should by a car instead!
I thought about helicopters but figured I would start with 4 wheels. It is quite a blast goes about 30 mph. Have not had a lot of time to enjoy it so I am still learning how to drive my truck.
Hey Anthony! Just thought I would tell you that me and 2 of my friends purchased Traxxas Slash Ultimates! Another buddy has a few different RC cars. After church we race them out in the field next door. I bought a LiPo battery, new tires, springs and a diff. gear ratio. Anyway, I have been having fun with it – when I can keep it out of the repair bay! How have you been?!
Hey Robb Been really busy but love that you got yourself a car. I do not get out enough with my beast I will need to come for a visit and a race or two so we can catch up.
