Again we have snow, I cannot remember the last time we had this much snow. I am not used to seeing so much snow, it is beautiful as it falls I just do not like the aftermath.

If the snow was not enough now we are getting front after front of rain to help get rid of all the snow that has fallen over the past two weeks. Now we get to look forward to freezing rain and potential flooding. Oh Joy!

Normally at this time of year we are getting tired of all the rain but not this year, we are in the middle of another major storm dropping snow instead of rain. I am not sure if this is storm number 8 or 9 but I can say this is probably the most snow I have seen in a large number of years. We sometimes get 1 or 2 “snow storms” a year so this year it is unusual the amount of snow we have received and the fact that it has stayed around longer than a day. While it is nice to look at, it is horrible for driving especially with the Vancouver drivers who have no concept that they should use some caution when the conditions deteriorate. On the way home tonight I saw three SUV’s and 1 tractor trailer in the ditch, upside down.
